Jim Quinn,  Underwriting Manager at Moda Health

TOPIC:

Overview of Underwriting

Jim is going to present an in- depth overview of the Underwriting process and explain in detail what underwriting is and why it should be done.  Jim will also explain the  differences for group and individual underwriting.   

Jim manages the underwriting department at Moda Health, overseeing medical and dental quotes and renewals for Moda and Delta Dental of Oregon and Alaska.  Jim just recently joined Moda in August 2019.  He brings 21 years of prior work experience with Mercer Health and Benefits, where he worked as an analyst and then financial consultant in their Los Angeles and Portland offices.
