WE ARE KEEPING OUR NEW MORNING TIME FOR THE AAHU MEMBER MEETING!

Since we are unable to meet for lunch, we have moved the meeting to 'Coffee Talk' time starting at 9:00am.  The meeting will commence with AAHU news and updates and our guest speaker immediately thereafter.  There will be time allotted for questions or commentary from membership.

Risk Management of Electronic Health Records

Electronic Health Records (EHR) or Electronic Medical Records (EMR) are essential to modern medical practices. From simple systems used by a small, single-specialty clinic to complex systems used by hospitals or health networks, these computer systems are at the heart of most medical practices.

Crystal’s presentation will review how medical practices use an EHR and what the most common areas of risks are associated with their use. At the end of the presentation, attendees will be able to better understand the role of an EHR in a medical clinic and offer coverage solutions to help a clinic mitigate their associated risk.
