Alaska CE: Pending

Presented by: Jessica Raymond

Wednesday, September 11, 2024  l   11:30 AM - 1:00 PM

Physical therapy for pediatrics is different than your typical orthopedic PT. Find out what are commonly treated conditions and how care can differ based on diagnosis and type of condition. Learn about the various settings pediatric PT can be delivered, what a pediatric PT session looks like, and factors that can impact treatment. Finally, understand what is and is not within the scope of practice for this modality. Of course, there will be case studies to really bring home the learning of how pediatric PT can help your client’s members.

Take Aways:

1.      What a pediatric PT session looks like

2.    Pediatric PT scope of practice

3.    Various settings for pediatric PT
