About our Speakers:
Josephine Young MD, MPH, MBA, FAAP is the Medical Director for Commercial Markets at Premera Blue Cross. After more than 25 years in clinical practice, including 10 years as Chief Operating Officer of a large multi-site private practice, she joined Premera Blue Cross in 2020. She advises and partners with national and large local employers to focus on health care innovation, optimize patient outcomes, enhance patient safety, improve clinical quality, advance the health of communities, and maximize value of health plan benefits. In addition to her clinical specialties of general pediatrics and adolescent medicine, she has special interests in improving clinical outcomes and patient experience in women’s health, cancer care, preventive care, chronic condition management, and whole person care with full integration of physical and behavioral health.
